Meet Alan
My name is Alan Hargrove, I am 33 years old, and I am based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I grew up in the small town of Hartland, New Brunswick (home of the largest covered bridge in the world), playing sports, mowing lawns, and riding dirt bikes. I graduated from high school in 2011 and earned a degree in graphic design in 2013. It was here I picked up a camera for the first time and began shooting anything and everything.
I shot my first wedding in 2017 and began shooting full time in 2021. Since then, I have shot over 100 weddings, and my work has been featured in Weddings Atlantic, Photobug Community, and more. When I am not shooting, you can find me at the movies, sipping coffee, or watching football (glory glory Tottenham Hotspur!).
My Philosophy
-
It’s simple: your wedding day experience is the number one priority. That applies to the time leading up to your day, the day itself, and for years to come as you relive it. This is your big day, and you need to be able to enjoy it. We, as wedding vendors, play a massive role in that, so here are a few ways we make sure that happens.
-
This is key around here. I want to build a connection like we are old friends because I want you to be comfortable enough to communicate your ideas, your issues, and be comfortable enough to pull me aside and chat if need be. I believe building this trust leads to a less stressful but more enjoyable experience, which always results in better photos.
-
Your wedding, your rules. I want you to celebrate how you want to celebrate. There is no right or wrong way to have a wedding, so you do you.

While there is no right or wrong way to have a wedding, I am sure you will have questions or need a hand. No worries, I got you. I love to be included in the planning process so I can best prepare to capture your day. Things like scheduling calls plus a wedding guide are just a couple of ways I can help.
